This rep stepped thru the side of the full enclosure to the huge cockpit on September 8th, 2016.
It was immediately apparent that this owner cared for his vessel. Why wouldn't he? He takes his family and friends to 'the Block' and other distances regularly.
The Gel-coat and Hull are excellent. The Cabin is clean and void of any odors or moisture.
Twin Crusader 454 Fresh-Water Cooled engines with 1028 hours brings her to about 19-20 cruising speed and 26 WOT.
They have been cared for as follows (in addition to regular oil and filter changes and proper winterization....
- Elbows and Risers - replaced 2013 (every 5 yrs during ownership)
- Hoses - Replaced 2010
- Electronic Distributors - Replaced 2013
Also, Generator Electronic Ignition replaced in 2015.
The Hand Rails were re-bedded in 2010, the Portholes and Hatchesre-bedded 2013.
The seller tells this rep that the Shower sump/Float switch broken, so he wired in a manual switch temporarily. Will install new sump when out of the water. One Windshield wiper doesn't work.
Seller will replace spark plugs, belts, water pump impellers this off season. Generator was done last year.
Owner spent 9 years in the Navy on Submarines, so it goes without saying that preventative maintenance is very important. He has owned it almost that long and is looking to move up.
